The aim of the study is to identify the role played by the staff at Al-Amal Institute for the Deaf in Kirkuk through their work in the profession of social service, as well as to identify the ways in which professional work can achieve social adjustment for people with special needs (Deaf).
The study was based on a sample of 44 individuals through a comprehensive inventory of the Deaf in the Al-Amal Institute.
The study used several methods, including (the social survey method, the historical approach, the statistical method), and tools, including (interview, observation and questionnaire).
It also used statistical methods, including (the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Chi-square (Chi2), and law of proportionality).
