Terrorism : a historical

The phenomenon called “terrorism” has plagued humankind for at least the past two millennia, and arguably, depending on how it is defined, prehistoric peoples probably had to contend with their neighbors raiding their encampments.

All this suggest that the term “terrorism” is so complex and multi-faceted, and can be utilized for such an enormous breadth of manifestations that one wonders whether it can be defined as a single concept, which therefore, would require more of a unitary approach to treatment it, or a smorgasbord of remedies.
