Abstract EN

The research is an ethnic study conducted in the western mountains of Dahra, Algeria tackling issues that took place during the Ottoman period before the French occupation.

It tracks the variations besides to human and ethnic groups and defends them through a society dominated by tribalism, beliefs, equilibrium factors such as sovereigns, Almoravids, unrest and conflict in addition to foreigner and outsider factor.

The latter is considered as a threat to these human groups as it has been a cause that unites and coalesces local human groups and contributed significantly to the formation of modern Algerian society.
