The developed countries have been aware of the strategic mission and impact of research centres and think tanks in diagnosing problems, providing answers and proposing alternative solutions.

Therefore they have established such centres and given them the necessary resources with appropriate legislative and legal framework for the centres to thrive away from bureaucratic and political interferences.

The Muslim nations need to establish such research centres and think tanks to restore the scientific leadership the Muslims enjoyed in the past.

Such centres should be high on the policy agenda for Muslims to compete in the global knowledge production and dissemination.

In fact the awakening of any nation starts by developing scientific research with moral values at its heart.
