Praise be to Allah and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah.

The current paper is a brief research on one of the type of remembrance of Allah, namely Takbeer “saying Allah is the most Great”.

It explores the concept, virtues and permissibility of Takbeer, in addition to its most significant relations to issues of belief, the reason for relating it to the Divine Attributes and its faith-related impact.

This will be tackled in brief to illustrate the status of Takbeer and the issues of theology it addresses, so that a Muslim may realize the true sense of the word.

The paper consists of an introduction, four sections and a conclusion.
