The establishment of urban areas in Great Britain is considered a successful example of new housing, proving the importance of social research regarding the success and comfort of any new city.

Urban housing officials have concluded that it is essential to survey as many people as possible concerning the new housing units, in order to make a proper assessment complying with the occupant's needs.

Due to the successful research phase, this method doesn't only benefit the country economically but also socially and environmentally.

This research paper aims to reveal the importance of the social research in successfully achieving sustainable urban establishments within the State of Kuwait.

Comparing the previous approaches of the State of Kuwait and Great Britain regarding the establishment of new housing units, it has proven that it is essential for the institution of housing in Kuwait to do a full research prior to building new areas.

By including the opinion of the public, it would successfully decrease costs, time and working hours.

This would lead to creating an urban environment complying with the occupant's needs.
