Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the role of the quality of family life as a mediate variable in the relationship between the national identity and the anxiety of globalization for a sample of female students in King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah.

The study includes 280 female students of scientific and literary specialties .Their age is between 19 to 21 years old.

The following tools were applied:-The scale of thev quality of life prepared by Amany Abdel Maksood Abdel Wahab and Sameera Mohammed Shend (2010).-The scale of national identity and the anxiety of globalization prepared by Mujeddah Alkeshky (2016).The study reached the following results : 1.

There is a high level of the quality of family life for the sample of the study.

There is a high level of the national identity for the sample of the study.

3.

There is a low level of the anxiety of globalization for the sample of the study.

4.There is a statistically significant relationship between the quality of family life and both of the national identity and the anxiety of globalization for the sample of the study.

5.There is not a statistically significant relationship between the national identity and the anxiety of globalization for the sample of the study.

It is predictable that the correlation degree between the national identity and the anxiety of globalization may change after statistical insulation of the quality of life .

There are not statistically significant differences between the female students in the quality of life because of the variable of specialty (scientific or literary).

8.There are not statistically significant differences between the female students in the national identity because of the variable of specialty (scientific or literary).

9.There are statistically significant differences between the female students in the anxiety of globalization because of the variable of specialty (scientific or literary).
