Abstract EN

No beauty of creativity without drawing an image in our minds, and we don't know the meaning of the image except by realizing the perception as an abstract idea that lightning in the mind of the creator before enclosing it in a specific literary gender (poetry or narration).

And that comes to us from the knowlge store of memory that interacts with the image and artistic photography.

From here, the mind of the reader / critic can activate the cognitive reservoirs and draw a logical scheme to open a window into the intention of creator through interpretation.

Based on that, this study aims -,adopting the pragmatic cognitive approach-to research the image, the perception and the intention through interpretation by interrogating the collection of poems “The Awakening of Shahryar” written by the Algerian poet Abdel Halim Mukhallah and the novel “7” by the Saudi novelist GUAzzi al-Qusaibi, starting from sill of cover's title and linking it to the perception of the text.
