This study deals with a very important topic and answers the main question: How does the activation of the principle of universal jurisdiction allow putting an end to impunity, and how countries can show solidarity in order to confront the most dangerous criminals who commit international crimes, especially those that affect individuals and civilian objects in international and non-international armed conflicts.

States work to entrust universal jurisdiction to internal criminal courts, which allows a national judge to try violators of international humanitarian law.
