This study aims to clarify the role of the security services in preserving public rights and freedoms during the Corona pandemic under the Jordanian Defense Law, as the study first dealt with the legal frameworks regulating public rights and freedoms in Jordanian legislation, which stemmed from international charters and agreements, then the study showed the main The law that regulates the duties of the security services under the Defense Law and the orders issued pursuant thereto, in order to achieve the preservation of public health and its reflection on the public good, while preserving to the extent necessary for public rights and freedoms in line with the group’s general objective.

Finally, the study concluded with a number of conclusions.

Most notably, the goal of activating the law and defense orders is exceptional, in order to provide an additional tool and means to protect public health, maintain the health and safety of citizens, improve performance and raise the level of coordination among all, to confront this pandemic, and the study concluded with several recommendations
