Abstract EN
Syria exhibits a genuine and complex legal profile because of its composite history.
This is verified by the very presence of moral rights, in essence civilian, in an author‟s rights system in theory pertaining to the romano-germanique tradition.
Notwithstanding the strong respective features of Syria and France that characterise their relationship to moral rights, the differences weaken when exposed to a comparative analysis.
The latter displays important nuances regarding them.
The comparative approach offers to show that neither the French droit moral nor the Syrian moral rights deploy a complete autonomy.
Moreover, the comparative study allows to highlight the systemic artificial intelligence of moral rights, apt to embrace the era of universal technological mutations.
