Abstract EN

Speech intelligibility is affected by various interfering factors in a speech transmission system.

Noise is one of the most common affecting factors.

Subjective listening experiments were, respectively, carried out in pink noise, speech noise, and white noise-interfering environment.

The perceptual characteristics of the initials, finals, tones, and syllable intelligibility were analyzed, and the function relationships between Chinese speech intelligibility and SNR in noise environment were concluded, which could be used to evaluate or predict the Chinese speech intelligibility under noise transmission conditions.
