The academic procrastination is a phenomenon that many students suffer from.

This is why it is necessary to know the nature and forms of this phenomenon and to know its causes and factors that affect them.

It focuses on a target group as a fundamental pillar in society, The study aimed to reveal the level of academic procrastination among university students as well as to identify the differences between students in academic retreat according to the variable of the academic (scientific - human).

The study sample consisted of (300) students, Researcher has resulted in the results of the study on the university students showed a high level of academic procrastination, as well as there are no differences between the university students in the level of academic procrastination according to the specialization variable (scientific - humanist), and in the light of the results as the study, the researcher recommended some of the recommendations and proposals.
