This article shows that emigration is a favorite theme in the Algerian novel.

An important dimension structures the narrative instance of the Algerian novel, whose function is to describe this theme of emigration as a possible place.

Thus the literary dimension caught our attention which prompted us to adopt an analytical look at "Discourse and representation of emigration in the Algerian novel".
