The fact that tobacco causes an anesthesia of the nerves and confusion of thinking is that the smoker not only harms himself, but harms all of the students.

This is what is called upon to identify the nature and forms of this phenomenon and its causes.

And the factors that affect them, and because it focuses on the target group as a cornerstone in the community, where it has a lot of responsibilities and tasks that concern the future of the country, The study aimed to identify the level of addiction among students in the sections as well as to identify the level of differences between the scientific and humanitarian disciplines of The sample of the study consisted of (260) students.

The smoking addiction measure was applied by the researcher.

The results of the study showed that the students in the departments showed an average level of smoking phenomenon, as well as differences between the students In the level of smoking and according to the variable specialization (scientific - human) for the benefit of humanitarian colleges, and in the light of the results of the study recommended the researcher some recommendations and proposals
