The subject of trade in Aleppo during the Ottoman domination of important topics, especially because the City adopted through the ages on the important geographical location on the trade routes, between India and China and Europe to the West, the Levant and the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea and Turkey.

Thus we observe that the geographical location of the city of Aleppo them commercial stations, most active on the Silk Road, and remained to maintain the unique realities, despite paralyzing of internal unrest during the Ottoman domination.

The search has focused on driving foreign concessions system platform which affected the foreign trade system privileges and merchants in Aleppo and other Ottoman States as Ottoman authority submitted a number of facilities to European countries, encouraging their citizens to reside and trade in Controlled States, exploiting their money.

As well as foreign trade marked milk from Damascus for proximity, and security, and was protected from the nomadic tribes that were robbing commercial convoys in the Levant, it explains the rich markets of Aleppo city.
