The sounds In Arabic،is divided into two types،letters are long; they are the letters of the alpha، A،w، and Y، if preceded by a homogeneous movement، and short: the movements of the opening، the fracture and the vowel.

The ancients went on to say that the sounds of the tide are static characters preceded by a homogeneous movement.

The modernists say that the long lines are long movements of the silences that precede them.

The diacritics in Arabic are six: the fathah، kasrah، damma، the (a) letter، the (w) letter.

But the truth is that despite the sound nature of the sounds of the extension ، they are letters، and we can not consider them from the diacritics.
