التحديات التي تواجه تطبيق معايير الجودة في كليات التربية من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس

Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the most important challenges facing the application of quality standards and academic accreditation in the faculties of education from the perspective of faculty members.

1- Identify the differences in the responses of the individuals of the research sample on the degree of the presence of these challenges according to the gender variable (males - females) and the variable of educational qualification (Master - PhD).

The research sample consisted of (100) faculty members of the Faculty of Education for Humanities at the University of Karbala.

The descriptive method was used which included the design of a questionnaire containing (20) graduated paragraphs according to the Likert scale.

The study found that there are challenges and high degree of obstacles to the application of quality standards and academic accreditation.

1 - Lack of availability of services supporting the application of quality standards such as laboratories، Internet networks and databases، which ranked first in order of challenges.

2- The tendency of some faculty members to work individually and not wanting to work together، and got second place in the order of challenges.

3- lack of involvement of teaching staff in the planning of the application of quality standards in the college، but this paragraph has got the third place in the order of challenges.

In light of the findings of the research، the researchers presented a set of recommendations and suggestions that are consistent with the results of the research.
