Since its establishment, Iraq has witnessed the wrongful exploitation of ideology, which made it enter into political, social and cultural crises, that affected its stability and societal unity.

The ill-conceived and ideological policies pursued by the political regimes that ruled Iraq, and the use of force and violence to gain power, in addition to trying to impose unilateral ideology adopted by these regimes while suppressing other ideologies, made society suffer from repression of its freedoms and rights.

However, negative ideological employment after 2003 within sectarian, national, religious, or partisan frameworks negatively affected the building of national values that reinforce national unity and inclusive national identity that contribute to enhancing national cohesion and community integration.

all of this made socialization institutions produce distorted outcomes that affected the structure, unity, and stability of society.
