The components of the program of preparing the students of the college of Education for Humanities have vital importance since they enable them to teach any subject within their fields in a good way.

The present study is interested in two important questions : 1.

The extent of acquiring the items of the program by the student of the fourth stage in the college of Education fir humanities in the university of Al-Muthanna? 2.

What is the frequency of the extent of acquiring the components of this program by the students in the college of Education fir humanities in the university of Al-Muthanna according to the gender distinction? The community of the study includes the applying students of the fourth stage in the college of Education fir humanities in the university of Al-Muthanna ( Departments of English , Arabic ,Geography, History, and Quranic Sciences).

The sample of the study includes (90) students who represent (20%) of the total number of the students.

The sample has been chosen randomly.

The study has followed thedescriptive method of research to analyze the components of the program ( planning, identifying the objectives, contents, methods of teaching, audio-visual aids, training and observation , and assessment) The results of the study have shown the weakness of the performance and teaching of the students in the college.

Also, there is difference between the performance of males and females.

The females are seen as better than males.

The researcher has concluded that the college was not able to make its students able to acquire the components of the teaching process.
