Abstract EN

The manuscript depictions of the Ilkhanate era in Iran reflect the cultural and artistic dialogue approach that prevailed in that period ,when a movement of openness to literature from different sources occurred, which led to the emergence of new features of the art of photography, which derived many of its themes and artistic elements from several arts even those associated with pagan beliefs.

The ancient Iranian arts continued to be a source of inspiration for photographers, as did the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Uyghur art, as well, in shaping the Ilkhanate art of painting.

However, the political circumstances that accompanied that period made both the art of Arab and Chinese photography a pride of place in the formation of the Ilkhanate photography character, and they are the subject of this research
