Terminology is an issue that held a privileged position in the critical theory, with what it presented from knowledge contributions at the level of theory and practice.

And since that the term in any critical speech is prepared underlying mainstay for any critical study, whether theoretical or practical, this paper decided to go into the problem of the term for the critic Abdul-Jabbar Al-Basri who is his presence with a group of critics formed impacts on the tracks of Iraqi criticism since the beginnings of the second half of the twentieth century until the beginning of the current century.
