The massive legal or informal urbanization, the strong population surge and the rural exodus, are the most significant events in the history of Tizi Ouzou (T.
O) since independence to the present day.
We will study through this article the various obstacles of the urbanization process, the dysfunctions of the transport system and we will highlight the key factors that have generated the increase of daily mobility in the city of T.

O) depuis l'indépendance à nos jours.
Nous allons étudier à travers cet article les différents obstacles du processus d'urbanisation, des dysfonctionnements du système de transport et nous soulignerons les facteurs clés qui ont généré l'accroissement de la mobilité quotidienne dans la ville de T.
O, en s'appuyant sur l'essentiel des résultats obtenus de l'enquête ménage déplacement (EMD) réalisée auprès des ménages de la ville de (T.
