Abstract EN

This paper deals with Alexander of Macedonian’s endeavour of to realize the untiy of human being (Homonia), a term used by sources to refer to Alexander and his dream that researchers called the"Cosmopolitan." It also includes the means he used in his attempt to achieve that dream and the achievements of his successors.

If Alexander succeeded to some extent in uniting a large part of the ancient world, this is due to his father, King Philip II of Macedonia’s, success in merging the states of Greece in one country.

King Philip II of Macedonia realized then that he can integrate races and unite the two continentsie Europe and Asia.

He made the Greek civilization the common factor of this integration and homogeneity together with other means to achieve the sought unity.

He created cities, welcomed cooperation between peoples and encouraged integrating civilizations which had never been known before.

He explicitly declared his dream of the unity of mankind and that all people are brothers.This dream is what researchers interpreted as the cosmopolitan which no source has ever mentioned Alexander’s dream is known as Homonia (Brothers).
