After the events of 9/11, many concepts and many changes emerged on the international scene, Perhaps the most prominent of them is the emergence of a new type of threat called asymmetric threats, which are considered the most difficult because of the ambiguity they carry and the difficulty in identifying and confronting the opponent, And the Arabian Gulf region is considered the fertile climate for this type of threat, The fact that this region witnesses sectarian, religious and ideological conflicts, and perhaps the most prominent country that adopts these methods and employs them in its regional orientations is Iran, Especially with the role it is trying to play, which resulted in a security concern for the Arab Gulf states.
