The research aims to find the mental habits of middle school students on the one hand, and the relationship between them and the achievement in biology for each stage of study, on the other hand, the researcher used the research tool prepared by the researcher for the purposes of the current research is a questionnaire of mental habits and applied to the sample (142) students distributed differently to the three preparatory stages (fourth, fifth and sixth scientific), after the treatment of data statistically showed the prevalence of some mental habits in the students in the preparatory stage as well as the existence of differences of significant significance of the existence of good mental habits at The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the three grades in the average of students' responses to the standard of mental habits.

There was also a strong relationship between the intelligent behaviors of students in answering the achievement test of biology, That the students use good mental habits and different rates and mental habits are different between the stage of study and the other stages of the three (fourth, fifth and sixth preparatory), as well as that there is a relationship between the use of the use of behaviors Mental habits in the answer to the achievement test of biology, and through the results of the current research recommends the researcher of biology teachers using tests to develop mental habits because the good test contributes to the use of students to mental habits as well as smart behaviors in the classroom and we propose to conduct similar studies for specializations Others such as chemistry, physics, mathematics and other study stages of this measure mental habits.
