English Abstract

Ktert studies indicated the importance of the family, and their role in helping children to psychological and physical, social and mental development.

She explained that the emergence of a child's confidence in the world around him confidence derives from his family.

It concluded that the family is a source of comfort and security of the child.

It recommended therefore the need to live up family relationships to provide security and comfort levels, and acceptance of others, mutual respect, to create an environment that provides the child's family atmosphere keeps him away from the sense of oppression and helplessness, and by creating an atmosphere of love and reward and .accept others and promote a climate of respect among family members To achieve this should be characterized the relationship between the family members as positive; because the creation of a positive relationship between the family members would find a family warmth, mutual respect and dialogue between family and friendship individuals, and mutual cooperation, and social participation, and tolerance in different positions on the one hand, and renounce ties negative characterized by violence, threats, and domination, and, deprivation and punishment on the other.

This in turn confirms that the pattern of the relationship within the family affects children and their values, and practices and productivity, and the extent of their self-confidence, and their ability to take responsibility; which will reflect on the society as a whole.

And therefore it must be taken into account, and the interest in it because of its implications for the socialization output performed by the family.

In terms of the roles that the family is vested in the process of socialization, they are too numerous, ranging from helping the child to grow through the provision of nutrition and care, to encourage the independence and self-reliance.

It is at the same time babysitter for the children to solve their problems of life, as well as supporting their interests and their concerns, and provide suitable to satisfy the needs of love and affection for their environment.

It is also the roles of family support for children's education, and to encourage their talents and develop them.

Role of the family is not limited to those roles but also to being environment protective incubator that works to purify the values before moving to the child, which is also directly responsible for learning the language and skills of expression, and the first place where the child seeds find emotions, attitudes and ways of healthy life and Mosul to the culture of the community.

In addition to the above-mentioned important roles of the family, some studies suggest that the role of the family in the Acquistion of her children, a number of large values.

It is these values: religious and moral values, values the love of God Almighty, and the values of honesty, in addition to social values, such as cooperation, participation, honesty, and love others, and a host of personal and sentimental values: values of independence, self-esteem, compassion, humility and other national is : in love of home, belonging, identity and pride, and freedom.

And aesthetic values: values love of art, beauty and admiration.

Scientific and values: that involves estimating the science, creativity, and respect for the mind.
