Abstract EN

The objective of the research was to identify the extent to which the concepts of sustainable development were included in the Arabic language book for the intermediate stage.

From the point of view of the Arabic language teachers, the sample consisted of 126 teachers and 70% In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers prepared a questionnaire consisting of (28) paragraphs, divided into six areas: (the social dimension, the economic dimension, the economic dimension, Environmental dimension), and verified the veracity and reliability of the questionnaire Atmdt statistical analysis package (spss) to extract the results showed the results: 1.The extent to which the concepts of sustainable development are included in the Arabic language book for the intermediate stage from the point of view of the teachers of the Arabic language to a medium degree and to all areas of the questionnaire (social dimension, economic dimension and environmental dimension).

2.There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) in the extent to which the concepts of sustainable development are included in the Arabic language book for the intermediate stage from the point of view of the teachers of the Arabic language according to gender, The study recommended the following: -The need to provide a school guide to help teachers fully promote the concepts of sustainable development.

-Training Arabic language teachers on sustainable development in the teaching of the Arabic language.

-Adopting the dimensions of sustainable development in the construction of educational programs and textbooks for all stages of study.
