Abstract EN

This study aimed at finding the effect of the Syrian refugees on the Jordanian public schools in the Northern Region from their principals' perspective.

A questionnaire was used to collect the data for the current study.

Study Population was (688) schools principals, the data collected from a sample of (136) schools principals.

Data collcctcd were analyzed using the descriptive analytical statistical method, results of the study showed that the effect of the Syrian refugees on the public schools in Al- Mafraq and Irbid govemorates was high.

Also the Results showed that there was no effect on the public schools in those govemorates due to the gender and experience variables.

Pertaining to the types of schools the results showed there was a statistical analysis difference in favor of the evening schools in Teacher Side.

The study recommended the need to provide an environment rich in knowledge, social and recreational activities capable of satisfying the different needs of Jordanians and Syrian refugees.
