The Current research aims to identify ( The effects of Stofflett & Stoddart Model in Higher Order Thinking for the Students of the Third grade average ) , To verify the objective of this research , the researchers added nul hypothesis following : There is no difference is statistically significant at the level of ( 0.05 ) between the average scores of students who studied Stofflett & Stoddart Model and the average students who studied by Higher Order Thinking test.

The research was conducted on a sample of the average Third grade students in a Baghdad secretary for boys affiliated to the General Directorate for Educational in Baghdad Al – karkh 3 and for academic year ( 2015 – 2016 ) , the researchers adopted a two Experimental design as research sample ( 86 ) students from the average Third grade students were Selected randomly by the division of A by ( 43 ) students stood to represent the control group , who studied by using traditional method and the Division B by ( 43 ) students groups to represent the Experimental group that studied Stofflett & StoddartModel and rewarded the two groups in the Variables (chronological age in months and collection former in the subject of chemistry, previous and chemistry, information , Misconception of Chemical concepts) , and has one of the researchers thought himself by the two groups in two servings per week for each group , was preparing Higher Order Thinking test including ( 30 ) were verified face validity , by submitting it to a group of specialists , then applied on a prospective sample to calculated the discriminatory power of the item of the test was calculated construct validity and factor validity have been confirmed persistence of the AIFa- Cronbach reliability coefficient ( 0.65 ) .Using simplest t – test with the two ends of the two independent sample were null hypothesis testing yielded results in terms of statistically test.
