The current study aimed at recognizing the impact of the activity of analyzing the artistic painting in growing the aesthetic preference to the female students of the preparatory stage.
The community of the study included the students of the fifth stage in both scientific and Art and literature branches in the female high and preparatory schools in the city centre of Baquba.
The community were ( 557) for the academic year 2015-2016 .
A random sample of (20) students of them were chosen and divided into two groups, the experimental and controlling groups, (10) students in each group .
The researcher used the experimental method of two groups, experimental and controlling groups, in two tests, the pre and post tests.
Using previously set questionnaire by the researcher, Asmaa Kareem Kadhum, to assess the growth of the aesthetic preference.
After coping the questionnaire to suit the preparatory stage.
To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher has set four zero assumptions, through which, the researcher found that there incorporeal differences at the level of reference (0.05), among the marks of the students of the experimental group and the marks of the students of the controlling group ; in the aesthetic preference for the priority of the experimental group.
And there incorporeal difference at the level of reference (0.05) among the marks of the students of the experimental group , in the pre and post tests, for the priority of the post test .
According to these results achieved in the study, the researcher concluded that the style of analyzing the artistic painting in growing the aesthetic preference is better than the lecturing style.
Thus the researcher recommends using the style of analyzing the artistic painting in stead of the lecturing style.
The researcher also suggests conducting a study entitled " the impact of analyzing the artistic painting style in teaching the high school female students some of the rules of the imaginative composition
