The history of political relations between the countries of the Islamic Maghreb at the end of the Medieval Age witnessed several phenomena; perhaps the most important one was forced emigration of princes, ministers and statesmen, especially scientists through their forced migration in the other direction.

Perhaps the most apparent thing about the relationship between the Nasria of Andalusia and Ziani of Tlemcen is that it was good, and this facilitated the movement of refugees and fugitives from one country to another, taking advantage of their presence by benefiting from them culturally, intellectually and politically.
