Abstract EN

Most Western mythology in general, and French in particular, sought to harness history for ideological ends of colonial-style domination based on the domination and contempt of the other by passing its Western theories that perpetuate the inevitability of a French Algeria on theoretical background that Algeria is linked to the Roman Empire, and thus its eternal association is with Europe and its survival under its mercy; in addition to other ostensible theories that revered Western race and humiliated the Muslim one, as a society historically in need of perpetual rulers and leaders.

In response to these French historical inaccuracies, cultural defenses emerged in the form of perceptions, thoughts, and opinions of a number of Algerian historians, including purely politicized scientific and emotional ideology, which took a teleological topic under the banner of defending the Algerian state before the French colonization in 1830.

There was a mythological duality in the arena.

The first included the French mythology with its destructive ideologies, yet the second consisted of the Algerian mythology against it, and which aimed at dropping what the first promoted.
