The liberation of the city of Oran from the hands of the Spanish occupation in 1791 is an important event in the history of Algeria during the Ottoman period, given the city's historical heritage and strategic location in ports overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and geographical extension reaching the depths of the Algerian Sahara adjacent to the state of Morocco, It was nominated to be the capital of Bayelk West, and a station for the export of Algerian products to the Bayelk to various European countries, as well as making it a portal from which Algeria imports European goods to supply local markets.

In this research we will seek to highlight the role of Oran in the foreign trade of Algeria the Ottoman Empire.
