Achieving the Algerian Manuscript Heritageand Digital Libraries of ManuscriptsThis study is a scientific attempt on the subject of digital libraries of manuscripts, as a source for the codification and digital investigation of the manuscript heritage in the digital environment in Algeria, through a field study of researchers interested in manuscripts.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, we used the analytical descriptive method.

Among the most important findings of the study is the existence of a number of difficulties that prevent the establishment of digital library projects in Algeria, despite the great importance of these projects in the codification and digital investigation of the manuscript heritage in the digital environment.
