This research aimed to know the classroom assessment techniques: (background knowledge probe, concept maps, group- work assessment, and Assignment assessment) practices of mathematics teachers in intermediate stage and present proposal for develop mathematics skills in classroom assessment techniques.

Descriptive method was used in this research.

Research sample contained of (35) teachers in Buraidah were selected using the cluster random sampling method.

A teacher performance observation card used as a tool to observe the practices and confirmed its validity and reliability.

The research found out the background knowledge probe practices and concept maps practices of mathematics teachers were moderate.

Group- work assessment and assignment assessment practices were low.

The research presented proposal and number of recommendations and suggestions which related to its results.
