Abstract EN

The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between guidance and extension services and adaptation in schools for first year secondary school students, starting by asking a problem with some of the following questions: - Is there a correlation between extension services and special education for first year secondary school students? - Are there statistically significant differences in extension services by gender? - Are there statistically significant differences in terms of extension services by specialization? - Are there statistically significant differences in school adjustment based on gender? To answer these questions, the following hypotheses has been stated: - There is a correlation between extension services and special education for students in the first year of secondary school.

- There are statistically significant differences in extension services by gender.

- There are statistically significant differences in terms of extension services by specialization.

- There are statistically significant differences in school adjustment according to sex.

- There are statistically significant differences concerning the school adjustment by specialization.

-In order to check out these hypotheses, the descriptive approach has been used as an appropriate method for this study, which has been applied to a sample of 200 first year high school pupils and intentionally selected students.

To determine the data, the student has used the following statistical methods: Pearson's correlation coefficient and T test.

For the differences.

After outputting the data and calculating the results, these have given the following results: - There is no correlation between extension services and adjustment of pupils of the first year of secondary school.

- There is no statistically significant difference in extension services by gender.

- There are no statistically significant differences in terms of extension services by specialization.

- There are statistically significant differences in school adjustment according to sex.

- There are no statistically significant differences in school adaptation according to specialization.

Finally, the study results have been explained in light of previous studies.

The study concluded with a conclusion and some suggestions that would be useful for future research.
