This research tries to showcase the view of Islamic jurisprudence regarding the distribution of treasures and minerals discovered by individuals.

The research also discusses the different ways of owning these treasures and minerals.

The current research reveals several categorizations of minerals, and explains the implications of categorizing the different types of minerals as far as the Islamic jurisprudence is concerned.

The research shows that the significance of emergence in categorizing minerals is not what is often understood from the term ' emergence'.

The emergence of a given mineral suggests that the mineral is near and easily seen on earth, and looking for it does not require hard efforts.

The emergence of a mineral is related to the visibility of the nature of the mineral as well as the mineral not being in need to modifications in order to understand its nature.
