The educational process of the educational sciences is witnessing mobility and continuous development at the level of theoretical accumulation of olutism and at the cognitive level, as is the main link in the process of the educational system of any country changing efforts and intensifying research around it to raise the level and quality of education in light of the big knowledge explosion that we are witnessing today, and what it requires of educational curricula and human competencies to keep up with it and benefit from it.

Therefore, we stop in our research paper on the concept of the educational process and its basic foundations on which it is built, as well as the stages of its development in the Algerian educational system, highlighting the reality of the educational process in light of the new educational reforms that depend on the approach of competencies and obstacles that hinder the educational action
