This study tries to search for the cognitive and methodological basics which led modern researchers to describe the Arab ancient linguists' contribution/efforts as a scientific theory.

When description, exploration, comparison, are the characteristics of the contemporary scientific research so these procedural mechanisms became tools in the hands of the Arab old grammarians who established grammarian theory to protect coran language We have adopted in all of this descriptive approach in our analysis of concepts and terminology.
