تأثر المهاجرون بانتشار سلالة الكوفيد الجديدة لا سيما أصحاب الوظائف ذات الأجور المنخفضة كما أدى إغلاق الحدود إلى عودة المهاجرين الذين فقدوا شبكات الدعم و أثر ذلك على أجورهم و تحويلاتهم المالية.
توفر تحويلات المهاجرين شريان الحياة الاقتصادية للأسر الفقيرة في العالم النامي و انقطاعها قد يؤدي إلى مزيد من الفقر و الحرمان مع صدمة متغيرة قد تؤثر على كل من بلدان المهجر و المصدر.
في هذه المقالة سنحاول تحديد العواقب الاقتصادية و الإنسانية للوباء على المهاجرين في البلدان المضيفة ذات الدخل المنخفض و المتوسط.
Abstract EN
Migrants were affected by the spread of Covid-19, especially in lower paying employment, lockdowns and border closure have also sparked the return of migrants who have lost support and networks and it affected their wages and remittances.
Migrant remittances provide an economical lifeline to poor families in the developing world and it leads to more poverty and deprivation with a covariate shock such as Covid-19 that affects both the receiver and source region.
In this review, we attempt to determine the economical and humanitarian consequences of the pandemic on migrants in host countries with low and medium incomes.

Les migrants ont été affectés par la propagation du Covid-19, en particulier dans le cas des emplois moins rémunérés, les verrouillages et la fermeture des frontières ont également déclenché le retour de migrants qui ont perdu leur soutien et leurs réseaux et cela a affecté leurs salaires et leurs envois de fonds.
Les envois de fonds des migrants fournissent une bouée de sauvetage économique aux familles pauvres du monde en développement et ceci conduit à davantage de pauvreté et de privation avec un choc covariable tel que celui de la Covid-19 qui affecte à la fois la région de destination et la région d'origine.
Dans cette revue, nous tentons de déterminer les conséquences économiques et humanitaires de la pandémie sur les migrants dans les pays d'accueil à revenus faibles et moyens.
