The sense of belonging, is one of the most essential human needs in the lives of individuals.

This stems from the necessity to have a safe and privileged situation in the social environment of each individual.

The school is considered as one of the most qualified institutions for this task.

Thus, it is incumbent upon it to inculcate the values and norms of obedience, as well as the rules of perseverance and competition between the people inv o lved, especially the pupils, through various school programs, including those of cultural and sports activities.

It turns out that these activities contribute not only to the development of physical and mental capacities, but also to the strengthening of relationships and social bonds, and the sense of commitment to school life.

This article aims to demonstrate the importance of cultural and sports activities in developing a sense of belonging to the school environment, and in preventing the risk of dropping out of school
