Abstract EN

The relationship of discharge and pressure drop and between resistance coefficiend and discharge with the hydraulic element is studied.

Experimental relations between laminar an turbulent flow has been established.

Such flow systems do not only depend on geometrical dimensions of the studied element, but also, with the flow nature.

This leads to an obvious difference between calculations and experiments.

The mathematical modelling of viscous and in compressible flows has successfully led to reliable results where Navier - Stokes equations been used for a two dimensional steady and identical flow, taking into consideration the critical conditions.

Solving this equations of studied hydraulic element (pipes - sudden expansion - sudden constriction) yielded the relation between discharge with pressure.

The study was carried out on pipes with geometrical dimensions.

It indicated that with the increase of Reynolds number reverse flow has immerged in the sudden change areas.

The deflection of ∝ From the value ∝= 2 Is apparent till the end of the pipe.

We also indicated the varying velocity divergence from Boazel curve.

the constriction is indirect before lessening the diameter, while in expansion it follows diameter increase.

Thus, calculating ∝ 1, 2 In our research has given better accuracy in determining Gariolis constant in any given section and flow system.
