Abstract EN

The purpose of the survey: recognizing the relation between Stuttering and child abuse.

This survey used a descriptive and analytic approach.

The sample of the survey consisted of 150 male and female students suffering from Stuttering, in communication centers in Suez governorate for ages from 9 to 12.

The most important results: There is a statistically positive correlation between types of abuse and stuttering in children.

In addition, it can be seen that the most popular type of abuse, associated with Stuttering in childhood, is the psychological abuse followed by negligence and then a physical abuse.
