Abstract EN

The present paper deals with the political philosophy of the French philos- opher Jean Bodin (1530-1596) especially his vision of the foundation of the state on virtuous moral bases, inspite the fact he did not call for that explicitly and his call for the necessity of the sovereignty of absolute authority.

the paper and shows the outlines of the idea of moral virtues inside his intel- lectual system although they are overlapping with each other as in the like the components of the state which he identifies a sovereignty political authority and the family.
