The issue of using the language in Arab media is considered among the most important issues that occupied the minds of the interested and researchers, since language is a symbol of identity and Arabism in our Arabic Muslim community.

in addition, follower of our Arab media sees that our media to employ slang beside the classical Arabic in the media discourse.

in light of this phenomenon, we discussed this issue, to know mains points that rise controversy, such as the reality of the media language in Algeria, what is the reason for the Algerian media resorting to the use slang? does this matter harm in classical language? what are the suggested recommendations that can be made?.
