يتناول هذا البحث أشكال مقاومة الآخر كما قدَّمتها رواية (الطريق إلى الشمس، الجوزاء)؛ إذ تنوعت أشكال مقاومة الآخر فيها، و منها نظرة العداء للآخر، و التي تُمثِّل مظهرا من مظاهر المقاومة، و منها المقاومة المسلحة، و المقاومة السياسية، التي كان لها دور كبير في توعية الجماهير، والتحذير من الخطر الذي يمثِّله الغرب الاستعماري
