This research aims to identify the effect of cooperative learning method in the acquisition of physical concepts for second grade students.
To achieve the research objective, the researcher formulated the following zero hypothesis: There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students studying strategy on According to the method of cooperative learning and the average score of the control group studied in the usual way in the test of the acquisition of physical concepts.
In order to achieve the goal of the current research, the researcher has the following built a test of the acquisition of physical concepts for second grade students average, and the researcher extracted psychometric properties, the test may be from (21) paragraph.
To achieve the research objective, the researcher applied the experiment and tested the acquisition of physical concepts on his research sample which reached (62) second grade students in middle school (Rafidain land for boys) and distributed randomly between two experimental and control groups (31) students for each group for the academic year.
(2016/17), (18) classes for both experimental and control groups, were randomly selected, and the two groups were rewarded with (previous achievement in physics and the test of physical concepts).
The data were then analyzed using SPSS.
The results were: There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group studied by the method of cooperative education and the average of the control group scores studied in the normal way on the test of the acquisition of physical concepts for the benefit of the experimental group.
In the light of the findings of this research, the researcher has developed a number of recommendations and suggestions mentioned above
