The study aimed to identify the motivation for academic Higher Studies in DiyalaUneversity , and achieve the aimes of the study measure applied to the study sample of (120) students, and the researcher built a motive for the completion of the academic and extract the psychometric properties of the Scale, and after processing the data statistically using a link Pearson and test labs samples t for one sample, the results showed that the achievement motivation was average among graduate students, although there are statistically significant differences among graduate students by sex in favor of females.
