The educational process is one of the most important processes that the world's countries have taken care of, so it has changed its plans and educational policy to elevate it to a better level.

The educational and audiovisual means have been introduced as new channels, including the theater.

The history of the school theater in the world confirms that this ancient art A school for the peoples to put on his tree the highest ideas and nobility, and that theatrical work presented to him made the history of this art and crystallized its foundations that discuss honor, justice, virtue and duty and other noble values virtuous.

The use of symbols and metaphors in these works of the old things, the old man used those symbols in the drawings of caves and sculpture, and then moved to the stories and legends, then the Greeks introduced the symbols and metaphors in most plays, and through the researcher to the texts of the play provided to children In the Iraqi school theater, he noticed the presence of symbols and metaphors, both in theatrical dialogue or the techniques of theatrical presentation.

Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the aesthetics of symbols and metaphors in the Iraqi school scripts.

The objective limitation was related to the artistic and aesthetic function of the symbol and metaphor.

As for the sample, a selection of plays were chosen (Al-Khair Al-Khair), Mesbah Alaa Al-Din, Prince of Colors, Baghdad Barber, Asfour Babel, Al-Hamra Treasure and Al-Saad.

The researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which are : 1-The symbols contributed to the dimensions of the characters and their actions and the nature of the conflict between them.

2 - metaphors contributed to clarify the hidden meaning, both in the act or dialogue because they were simple simulations can be understood and solve their meaning.

3-The use of symbols and metaphors within the text and theatrical presentation role in revealing the lines of conflict drama and what the characters seek to achieve.

4-There is an aesthetic recruitment of symbols and metaphors, both within the text or theatrical presentation, and the author and director was able to focus on aesthetic values and provide them in an interesting and enjoyable for viewers.

5-Thete chniques used in theatrical presentation such as lighting, decoration, fashion, music and makeup in the delivery of the idea and give aesthetic to theatrical presentation .
